Physicians


Richard F. Davis, M.D.

Dr. Richard Davis began his education at the University of California at San Diego completing a BA degree in Biology. He went on to receive his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, Charleston, South Carolina and completed his residency in 1983 at the University of California, Irvine where he served as chief resident in his third year. Dr. Davis has also served as Chief of Pediatrics and Chief of Staff at Carolinas Hospital System and Chief of Pediatrics at McLeod Medical Center. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Davis has been with Eastern Carolina Pediatrics since 1983 and enjoys practicing general pediatrics in the Florence and Darlington areas.
He and his wife Barbara have four children and five grandchildren.

Christopher T. Bardi, M.D.

Dr. Christopher Bardi received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and by 1981 had completed his medical degree at the Medical University College of Medicine and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Before coming to Eastern Carolina Pediatrics in 1987, Dr. Bardi served as a staff pediatrician at the US Air Force Hospital at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma and also at Aiken Pediatrics in Aiken, S.C. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bardi enjoys serving the Florence and Darlington areas in general pediatric medicine.
His and his wife, Laura, reside in Florence.

Dr. John A. Keith, III, M.D.

Dr. John Keith, III, received a B.S. degree in chemistry from Howard University of Liberal Arts, Washington, D.C. and his medical degree from Howard University School of Medicine. After completing his residency program at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. in 1999, Dr. Keith came back home to practice general pediatric medicine at Eastern Carolina Pediatrics. Dr. Keith is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. A native of Pamplico, S.C., he has a special interest in the health and wellness of our pediatric and adolescent population.
In his spare time Dr. Keith is actively involved in the revitalization of downtown Florence, S.C.

Dr. Dante’ Lewis, M.D.

Dr. Lewis is the newest member of the physician staff at ECPA having joined us in 2013.  Dr. Lewis now resides in Florence. He received his B.S. degree at the State University of New York @ Stony Brook and his Doctor of Medicine at MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine. He completed residency at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut in 2005. Dr. Lewis is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He speaks fluent English and Spanish and enjoys serving the Florence and Darlington areas in general pediatric medicine.
He and his wife Patricia enjoy spending time with their daughter and two boys.

Jennifer D. Calabrese, APRN, FNP

A native of Hartsville, S.C. Jennifer completed her Masters of Science in Nursing in 1998 at the University of South Carolina’s College of Nursing, Columbia. From 1998 – 2009 Jennifer practiced as a nurse practitioner in the Florence, Charleston and Hartsville areas caring primarily for pediatric patients. She joined ECPA in 2009. Jennifer is grateful for the opportunity to provide excellent pediatric care as a nurse practitioner at the ECPA Darlington site.
She and her husband, Jeff, have two daughters and reside in Hartsville, SC.

Erin Lewis, APRN

Erin completed her BS Degree in Nursing from Clemson University in 1998 and recently obtained her Master’s Degree through South University. Erin now serves as a full-time Nurse Practitioner at the Florence ECPA site. She is excited about her new role and looks forward to the opportunity to provide excellent care to her patients.
Erin resides in Florence with her husband Jon and children Stone, Alex and Will.
